While we are waiting for the 600-hp version, the current version is already available as the 2020 BMW X7 M 50i. This model already offers impressive performances, not just in terms of impressive acceleration, but also in terms of the overall driving experince.

Thanks to the special suspension setup, this version offers impressive driving characteristics. Also, there are several more upgrades, including various styling modifications. This version rides better and also looks more aggressive compared to the standard model. This model is amazing in many aspects, but performances are the first thing that comes to mind. The current 2020 BMW X7 M50i comes with a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8, which delivers around 525 horsepower and comes paired with 8-speed automatic transmission. This engine provides impressive performances, but the next-year M model is expected to be even more impressive. This one will use the same engine but tuned up to 600+ horsepower. With such output, you may count on astonishing acceleration. For comparison, the current 2020 BMW X7 M 50i 0-60 time goes around 4.5 seconds. The new version will be even more impressive.

Although fuel economy isn’t something that bothers those who prefer excellent performances, we should mention that the current model returns around 15 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway. The new M model will be even thirstier.

On the other side, the overall cabin layout will remain the same. Therefore, you may count on excellent interior quality. Although some rivals might look more opulent, the fact is that this crossover features impressive materials’ quality, maybe even better than the closest rivals that are characterized by flashier dashboards.

When it comes to the seating configuration, you may count on three spacious rows of seats. Even the third one can comfortably accommodate adults on shorter trips.
